About SmartHaT

SmartHaT is the educator's tool, bringing the latest computer technology and e-learning techniques to the on-line classroom. Our goal is to develop innovative teaching and learning techniques using CELS (Computer Enhanced Learning Systems). This will allow us to use the on-line methods that are best suited for specialized professional and customized training courses. These on-line courses will be combined with live student-faculty interactions where appropriate. We will concentrate our initial efforts in the areas of Elder Care, Personal Finance, and Product Management.

SmartHaT provides specialty professional learning opportunities and options beyond the traditional university setting. We work with educators, students and business partners to explore innovative teaching technologies to meet specific institutional or business needs. We are the leader in CELS, a modular system which allows students direct network contact with their professors for open question and answer sessions, individual guidance, and remote assignment submission and evaluation, during and after the course. We can offer our courses using different learning formats to meet your particular needs. These could include:

E-learning, with virtualy all of the material being on-line.
Any hybrid which combines e-learning with faculty-student and student-student interactions through e-mails, bulletin boards, chat rooms, or actual live sessions.

Our faculty is comprised of a consortium of highly qualified professionals whose individual experiences and knowledge can be leveraged to offer creative solutions to practical problems of our internet students. We offer professional courses, with high educational standards, in many areas of science, technology, and business. Our courses in Product Commercialization are directly applicable to the manufacturing, business, and technology communities, while others, like Elder Care Solutions, are aimed at people with problems encountered in daily living.
